Vietnam will host the Asia International Semiconductor and AI Conference (AISC 2025) for the first time, marking a pivotal milestone in the country's strategic positioning within the global tech landscape. Taking place from March 12–16 across Hanoi and Da Nang, the event is co-organized by Aitomatic and the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the theme: "Innovating the Future: Bridging Global AI and Semiconductor Ecosystems."
Over 1,000 international experts and executives from top tech firms—including Google DeepMind, IBM, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, MediaTek, Tokyo Electron, Panasonic, Marvell, and many more from Silicon Valley, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, and China—will attend.
Key Highlights:
Focus: AI integration in chip design and manufacturing, and advanced semiconductor architectures.
Format: Technical workshops, policy forums, executive roundtables, and a high-level technology leadership summit.
Speakers: Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), Dr. Christopher Nguyen (Aitomatic), Dr. Lê Viết Quốc (Google DeepMind), Dr. Azalia Mirhoseini (Stanford), Dr. Anna Goldie (AlphaChip), and key Vietnamese contributors like Bích Yến (Soitec) and Lợi Nguyễn (Marvell).
The event also marks the launch of an open-source chip design platform in Vietnam and welcomes local tech companies to global AI alliances. As global semiconductor revenues surpassed $500 billion in 2024 (Bloomberg Intelligence), AI continues to drive economic transformation, with Vietnam aligning policy to attract foreign investment and talent through scholarships, tuition waivers, and R&D support.
At Kanetora, we believe that Vietnam’s rising role in global semiconductor dialogues reflects both opportunity and urgency—for workforce development, policy alignment, and collaborative innovation.
